NY Giants Coverage Upto The Task?
There is no question the New York Giants will have their hands full with Michael Turner running the ball, if he indeed plays. But Michael Turner is not the only player the Giants should be concerned about.
Whether Turner plays or not the biggest match up for the Giants to deal with will be Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez. I do believe Giants have a very good secondary and will be up to the challenge. They have had some problems lately that have shown poor communication on the field which have led to big plays for their opponent.
Corey Webster had a very rough game against Vincent Jackson and the San Diego Chargers two weeks ago. Webster needs to forget about his performance and move on so he can focus on Roddy White and the other Falcon receivers.
The Giants safeties and linebackers will have to deal with future hall of famer Tony Gonzalez. Last game Antonio Gates beat the Giants linebackers many times in coverage but the Giants got many breaks since they were unable to hold on to the football. With Clint Sintim getting more playing time and Michael Boley getting back to one hundred percent, the Giants coverage should not have a problem.
Unlike last game the Giants will need to close out the Falcons offense and keep them from scoring to win this game.
